Bafana bafana surprises the nation

Bafana bafana have surprised every South African citizen when they beat Senegal 2-1 on the 12th of November 2016 at Peter Mokaba stadium. Nobody gave them a chance against the African giants, although they proved that they can be a team for the big occasion when given a chance, thanks to first half goals by Thulani Hlatshwayo and Thulani Serero. Shakes Mashaba's team showed character on the day and they proved that they can be one of the big teams in Africa if they were to play more big games and be consistent.

Many South African fans and African football fans were very happy to see one of the best players in Africa play on Saturday, Sadio Mane.
Our boys did a very good job in keeping Sadio Mane quiet for the whole game although he created a lot of problems for us in the last 20 minutes of the game.
Bafana Bafana stand a very good chance to qualify for the 2018 FIFA world cup in Russia, with 4 points in two games, holding a second position in group stages.

Our national football team seems complete after that game against Senegal, although many South African football lovers still believe that if we were to get Kermit Erasmus in our current squad, we would be very complete. Like it or not there is a space for Kermit Erasmus in our squad because he is the only striker we have in our country that is good with run of the balls, holding the ball, collecting the ball and creating chances for his teammates.

If Shakes Mashaba can just put his pride and personal agendas away for the sake of the nation, we would be very happy as we want to see Kermit Erasmus in our current squad.
In soccer, there is a saying that goes by, to be the best, you must beat the best with your best squad, so like it or not we need Kermit Romeo Erasmus in our squad and we would be very happy as football followers to see him wearing Bafana bafana jersey instantly.

SHAKES MASHABA: ASAMBE LULU SOLALA EMBHEDENI

Bafana bafana coach, Shakes Mashaba had a special invitation from Mamelodi Siundowns to travel with them for their second leg Caf champions league final clash against the Egyptian giants, Zamalek in Alexandria where the match took place.

''Bra Shakes'' did a post match interview so that he can identify some of the vital issues and how he has seen the game as a whole.
Shakes Mashaba made a very good statement and highlighted some of the key factors that we need to sort instantly as a nation and also said that it is about time South African teams start taking this African tournaments seriously.
He also highlighted some individual performances from Mamelodi Sundowns players and said he was happy for the club, the president and the technical team. During the end of the post match interview, Bra Shakes shocked all of us when he said that he liked Mamelodi Sundowns song that says, ''Asambe lulu solala embhedeni''

Mamelodi Sundowns win Caf champions league final 2016

Mamelodi Sundowns have won the Caf champions league final 2016. Sundowns suffered a 1-0 defeat to Egyptian giants, Zamalek on 23rd of October 2016, thanks to a 3-0 first leg win at home that led them to lift the most essential trophy in the continent.

Pitso Mosimane has made history once again with the Cloorkop based outfit and he has proven once again that he is a man for the big occasion.
Pitso Mosimane became the first South African coach to lift the tittle and lead the team to the Fifa club world cup.
Sundowns have proven several times that they are the best team in the country currently based on their current performances and they are the second club in South Africa to lift the trophy after it was won by Orlando Pirates in 1995, Jerry Skhosana scoring the winning goal.

Mamelodi Sundowns have created awareness from last season that they gonna be one of the big teams in African football thanks to coach Pitso ''Jingles'' Mosimane and his technical team.

Zamalek president, Mortada Mansour, has reportedly blamed the use of miuthi for Mamelodi Sundowns to be crowned the champions of Africa.
''Is it natural to waste 18 chances in front of goal? Things were obviously not normal and there was magic and sorcery involved.
All the players and their coach were men today and we missed God's reconcile. I thanked them after the game for their manly performance". Mansour told Guardian Sport

WHERE IS KERMIT ERASMUS IN BAFANA BAFANA?

Many have said that Kermit "Romeo" Erasmus is one of the best strikers we currently have in South Africa but he has been missing for months in South African football national team. Kermit Erasmus joined France football club, Rennes where Osmane Dembele was playing last season before he joined Borrusia Dortmund from Germany.

We have quality players but when it comes to striking department in South African football we are very poor at producing the best strikers that can remain consistent for a long period of time.
South African strikers can't even score 15 league goals a season yet we still regard our league as one of the best in Africa. Shakes Mashaba, South African national football coach said that he wished he had the the quality of Khama Billiat in his team to help them score goals because scoring is the main challenge we are currently facing as the nation and we must remember that you cant win games if you don't score goals so to my question, where is Kermit Erasmus in our national team?

Shakes Mashaba has said that: "we are really looking forward to qualifying with the team we are setting up, but we have one problem; how are we going to sort out the scoring problem"? Mashaba told reporters after the match against Mauritania on the 2nd of September 2016. "All the top strikers in the league are forein. If I can have a player like (Khama Billiat), then maybe we'd score more, but by the way the boys are playing, I don't doubt we'll qualify for world cup" he added.

Many believe that there is conflict between Kermit Erasmus and Shakes Mashaba so that is why Kermit is not an option for Shakes Mashaba. Like it or not Kermit Erasmus is better than Gabuza and Ranti, which are two main strikers of the national team although they are not playing in their clubs. Our two national main strikers are bench warmers in their teams yet we expect them to score and remain consistant at top level which is highly impossible because they don't have match fitness.

Kermit once said that he is  not a back up player when he was called by Shakes Mashaba to replace tokelo Ranti when he was inujred. Kermit Erasmus took to twitter to express: "Am not a back up player. The tweet was because I heard through a close friend that the national team was looking for me and at that time I was on the real high, where I felt that I should be part of the initial squad, Erasmus told Kickoff magazine latest issue.

"To hear that am being called up because the player didn't pitch up for whatever reason, I just felt that at that moment, am not a back-up player" said Erasmus. " you work so hard and put in more effort just to improve yourself as a player and that's how you threated"? After that incident we never heard Shakes Mashaba talking about Erasmus and that is where many suspect that the confict between Erasmus and Shakes begun.
Please Shakes pride aside at this point of time, in order to qualify for the world cup in Russia 2018, we need this man and you know that. He can be your Khama Billiat once you show him that you trust him.

MOVIE REVIEW

44 MINUTES

Two men heavily armed with Ak 47 machine guns entered the bank of America and fired shots to the roof to threaten people inside the bank. They called for a manager threatening to kill everyone if the manager did not identify himself. The manager was identified by the bank employee and he was told to open the bank's safe and he exactly did what was expected of him and they successfully took the money. When the bank robbers attempted  to make a getaway they saw several police cars outside the bank and it resulted to a shootout between them and the police. Personally I think this movie is not suitable for children as it contains a lot of violence and it gives criminals ideas that machine guns can be used to overpower the police and how to commit heists.

The fact that the versatile defender is a free agent means that he is not affected by the transfer window since today its a deadline day for players transfers.

Anele Ngcoca will bring European experience to the reigning Premier soccer league  and Telkom knock out champions and he will be a crucial member this season for the Brazilians in Caf Champions league semifinals if they were to register him.

MAMELODI SUNDOWNS FACE ZESCO UNITED IN CAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE SEMIFINALS

The Tshwane based outfit will be facing the Zambian giants Zesco United in Caf Champions League semifinals 2016. Mamelodi Sundowns is the best team currently judging on their current performances both domestically and in African tournaments. Many have said that Mamelodi Sundowns are favorites to be Caf champions league champions this season because their coach Pitso "Jingles" Mosimane has prioritized this African competitions because he wants to turn Mamelodi Sundowns to be one of the best teams in Africa. Mamelodi Sundowns have beaten Zamalek in both away and home matches and that is where they created awareness to many soccer lovers that this year they mean business.

Pitso Mosimane the head coach of The Tshwane based outfit has made crucial and quality signings this season that can make them even stronger with the likes of Yannick Zakri, Ricardo Nascimento, Thapelo Morena, Sibusiso "Villa" Vilakazi and Lucky Mohomi. "Jingles" has that their performances both domestically and continentally have earned them respect and teams like Orlando Pirates, Kaizer Chiefs and Bidvest Wits can do it on African competitions. Mamelodi Sundowns.

Mamelodi Sundowns came first in their Caf champions league group B winning three matches, losing one, with nine points and seven goals. The Tshwane based outfit will face the Zambian giants in two leg matches. The Tshwane based outfit will travel for their first  leg match on 17 September 2016 against Zesco united. The second leg the Tshwane based outfit will be in their home soil with their own supporters on 24 September 2016. Sundowns are at risk of playing the second leg final away if they beat Zesco united in the double leg semi finals. Wydad Casablanca will take on Zamalek in the double leg semi final on 17th of September 2016 and 24th of September 2016.

Many South Africans wish that Zamalek must beat Wydad Casablanca because if they advance to the the Caf champions league double leg final, Sundowns will play their first leg at home and they will fly to Tunisia for their second leg final but that's if they beat Zesco United on the Semi finals because Wydad Casablanca qualified with eleven points and Mamelodi Sundowns qualified with nine points.

Mamelodi Sundowns supporters are praying that their most feared and dangerous trio that the country has ever seen  the "CBD" namely Castro, Dolly and Billiat must be on the forms of their lives when they play Zesco united on the first leg of the semifinals. Billiat is the best player in the country and Mamelodi Sundowns have rejected R17 million offer from Al Ahly and yersteday they rejected R25 million for their star player and they have released the statement that for them to consider selling their star player they want R37 million.

PITSO AND THE CBD TO DO IT AGAIN?

There is no doubt  that Mamelodi Sundowns is the best team in South African football at the moment but the main question in footblall  is that can you remain consistent?. Many players have failed to remain consistent once they were regarded as best players. The main question here is that can Sundowns do it again? I personally believe that the Tshwane based outfit can do it once again with the likes of Vilakazi, Ricardo Nascimento and Lucky Mohomi. Thousands believe that "Villa" is the best  attacking midfielder in the country currently. Villa has shown that he is happy to be a Sundowns player and that the main reason for him to choose Sundowns ahead of Kaizer Chiefs is that he wants to win trophies and be involved in African competitions but the main and vital question we keep asking ourselves is where will Villa, Mohomi and Ricardo play at this point of time. "Will Jingles" change his formation?

Thwala's opinion on Sibusiso Vilakazi's move to Sundowns

Many have said that Sibusiso "Villa" Vilakazi is one of the best players the country has ever produced and seen which is highly true. The boy is marvelous to watch, he can dribble, has eye for goal, can take on players on one on one situations and most importantly he is a final pass machine but is he worth R10 million. Villa was one of the most consistent players in the country during 2014/2015 season in the premier soccer league and he was rewarded with a player of the season award and players player of the season award.

There has been a lot of speculation regarding his future over a period of time and this season seems highly likely that he can move to one of the South African big clubs with Mamelodi Sundowns being the front runners for his signature. According to my sources, Villa has told some of his teammates that he will be leaving the club this season. Sundowns will be unstoppable if they were to get Villa. Just imagine Villa playing with the South African most feared and dangerous trio the "CBD", namely Castro, Dolly and Billiat. I'd love to see Villa playing for Sundowns.
