Pitso Mosimane the head coach of The Tshwane based outfit has made crucial and quality signings this season that can make them even stronger with the likes of Yannick Zakri, Ricardo Nascimento, Thapelo Morena, Sibusiso "Villa" Vilakazi and Lucky Mohomi. "Jingles" has that their performances both domestically and continentally have earned them respect and teams like Orlando Pirates, Kaizer Chiefs and Bidvest Wits can do it on African competitions. Mamelodi Sundowns.
Mamelodi Sundowns came first in their Caf champions league group B winning three matches, losing one, with nine points and seven goals. The Tshwane based outfit will face the Zambian giants in two leg matches. The Tshwane based outfit will travel for their first leg match on 17 September 2016 against Zesco united. The second leg the Tshwane based outfit will be in their home soil with their own supporters on 24 September 2016. Sundowns are at risk of playing the second leg final away if they beat Zesco united in the double leg semi finals. Wydad Casablanca will take on Zamalek in the double leg semi final on 17th of September 2016 and 24th of September 2016.
Many South Africans wish that Zamalek must beat Wydad Casablanca because if they advance to the the Caf champions league double leg final, Sundowns will play their first leg at home and they will fly to Tunisia for their second leg final but that's if they beat Zesco United on the Semi finals because Wydad Casablanca qualified with eleven points and Mamelodi Sundowns qualified with nine points.
Mamelodi Sundowns supporters are praying that their most feared and dangerous trio that the country has ever seen the "CBD" namely Castro, Dolly and Billiat must be on the forms of their lives when they play Zesco united on the first leg of the semifinals. Billiat is the best player in the country and Mamelodi Sundowns have rejected R17 million offer from Al Ahly and yersteday they rejected R25 million for their star player and they have released the statement that for them to consider selling their star player they want R37 million.
Ya boi it's going places and they are doing their best
